Stroller Review: Graco FastAction Fold Jogger Travel System

I was pleased when Graco released their first all-terrain 3-wheeled stroller. Because the Trekko is such a great product, I didn’t anticipate them to create any more all-terrain strollers. That is, until the Graco FastAction Fold Jogger was created.

This all-terrain stroller is one of the most popular on the market, with sales rocketing to the top. Let’s take a closer look at what the Graco FastAction Fold Jogger can accomplish for busy parents like you, starting with the features.

Graco Fast Action Fold Jogger Travel System Review

The fold is very simple. Simply pull up on the little handle strap in the seat’s crease, and your stroller will fold itself! The frame is held in position by an auto-lock, and a kickstand extends to make your jogger self-standing. I appreciate that I don’t have to bend down to retrieve it before putting it in the trunk. It also makes for greater garage or closet storage. However, as previously said, this stroller is rather large. Fortunately, all three tyres can be readily removed with a touch of a button above each for a more compact fold.

I didn’t notice anything remarkable about the sun canopy when I initially looked at this jogger, but it does offer certain benefits that you’ll love for shielding your young one.

It provides ample coverage, although it is not the most expansive canopy available. If you purchase the travel system, the car seat hood connects to the stroller hood, providing total covering and privacy.

Air circulation is always appreciated on hot summer days, thanks to the side mesh ventilation slats on either side. With the peek-a-boo glass at the top of the canopy, you can check in with your tiny traveller.

The seat on this all-terrain jogging stroller pleased me. While the seatback is similar to that of Baby Jogger, the 13-inch seat width provides plenty of room for growth.

When your child is older, a 5-point safety harness converts to a 3-point lap belt for more flexibility of movement. Parents remark on how much they appreciate that option. While the buckle isn’t as strong as those found on expensive models, it performs the job of keeping your baby safe.

The seat recline is excellent and couldn’t be easier to use. Simply lift the seat up until it snaps into an upright position to incline. Squeeze two bars on the back of the seat to partially recline or nearly flatten the seat.

For parents, the FastAction Fold Jogger offers numerous wonderful features!

First and foremost, the storage basket is a fantastic size! Large enough to fit a large diaper bag as well as your purse.

Two deep cup holders are located on either side of the parent console, which is something that every parent appreciates.

A cell phone holder in the centre of the console has a spring-loaded clasp that holds your phone in place, although parents have complained that it’s too tiny for most modern smartphone models.

A compartment beneath the phone holder holds your small items such as lip balm, wallet, or keys.

With a nice thick frame, this is a hefty, sturdy all-terrain stroller. It’s made of oval tubing that can support up to 50 pounds of weight. The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 or 35 LX travel system is compatible with the FastAction Fold Jogger, and it has excellent stability and balance, so you won’t have to worry about it toppling over. The wheelbase is two feet broad, which contributes to the vehicle’s steadiness. As previously said, this is ideal for using this stroller with a car seat.

The front swivel wheel makes tight turns, while the 15-inch rear wheels handle any terrain with ease.

Because these tyres are air-filled, the cushion provided by the air acts as a natural suspension system, providing a smooth ride. The swivel wheel is locked into place by a simple flip of a lever on the front of the footrest, which serves two purposes. It makes jogging over rough terrain much easier and gives you more stability.

I particularly like the reflectors on the back wheels, which offer a layer of safety in low-light circumstances like early mornings or late trips.

Because each wheel has a brake, you must take two steps. Although simple to implement, I prefer a one-step connected braking system.

Another factor to consider is the weight of the item. The FastAction Fold Jogger, like other all-terrain strollers or joggers, is large and heavy, weighing in about 30 pounds. In all honesty, this is the feature of all-terrain strollers that most parents dislike. While the weight helps stability, it’s tough to get it in and out of the car.

However, the wheels come off quite simply, and several reviewers have stated that once the stroller is in their vehicle, space isn’t an issue.
